Thanks M Arsenia: I am so glad you joined us. WOW, your writing challenge really perked me up--it may be my next challenge. I'm happy for you and admire the sensitivity you are using to take care of yourself and push it at the same time. Say goodbye to illness--and helloooo, to being your fabulous whole self. I'm on your side and will cheer you on finish line after finish line!

Diane: thanks for the consistent support--it means a lot to me. Way to have a backup plan! I am SO happy for my thigh-length raincoat (one from Patagonia that actually breathes so I don't get overheated). Keep it up and keep us updated here.

Dyana - you look fabulous - more relaxed - it is really paying off! And congrats to Alisa.
I didn't walk yesterday, but I did do 20 minutes of yoga. Unless I find my umbrella, I guess it will be yoga again today!

Dyana Valentine, has a project called “40 days of my body” which she created to encourage others to support each other in pursuit of improving mind-body-spirit. I was intrigued when I first explored this project/community of recovering procrastinators and have thought on this for awhile as there are many things I’d like to correct and heal with my physical and spiritual self. I watched the videos of the legless and armless young man pulling himself up off of his face and felt like an a-hole for sitting on my own ass. It's time to clean house of life-stunting, garbage thought process habits!
I will finish school:
Now that I have Texas residency I've filled out the college transfer apps/financial aide paperwork and I am looking forward to seeing what results I turn up in my pursuit of college funding. I hope that I will be accepted at University of Houston for a Master's in Psychology and Communication for Organizational Development and Business.
I will finish ill health and finish my book:
I believe that beginning with the Tai Chi and writing goals I have reasonable chance of achieving success. Keeping motivated and enthusiastic has always been my Achilles heel. At this point in my life it’s finally time for me to grab on tightly and drag my ass over this inertia once and for all.
This is Day One of Finishing Me!
1016 words. Lame. But I dragged my ass over the finish line. -MB
