WOW! First day I almost overslept–body is TIRED, brain is on fire. Big props to Alisa, Suzie, Julie and Sheila for rocking their own 40 Day challenges–who else is making a commitment? Tell us about it!

Some of you asked for stats, so here they are (combo of this week and last):
resting HR: 65
weight: 164
body fat: 40%
workout HR range: 130-163
food stuff: keeping daily journal, adding in caloric values next week
day off: Sundays
What else are you curious to know? Happy to share (almost) anything.

    Traci: I don't eat b4 workouts, but very occasionally have a small protein powder+juice swig before I go. Right now--my workouts kind of push my hurl button and seem to go better w/o food (especially b/c they are at 5-630am). Amy: thanks for sharing the perspective on body diversity and public discussion of same--I wondered whether the info would be useful or more navel gazing or just off-putting to people, but there it is. HOORAY for the ultimate self-care--That will be amazing to have good consistent support for all that you do.

    Carabunga: go where you least expect yourself to go---and then let me know what you commit to. Thanks for even considering your own challenge.
  • This makes me want to do my own 40 day challenge! But what to tackle? Healthy eating habits, frugality, or productivity? Hmm....
  • OK, Dy, I am in AWE of your courage, authenticity and balls to post your weight and body fat publicly. OH MY GOODNESS! I am floored by this. I think as women we are so programmed to think we are supposed to weigh 110 pounds (at least that is the way I feel) and I learned so much when I was a weight watchers about true, normal, healthy weights. You are SO inspiring!

    For me, today, I'm reaching out to hire and PAY a great assistant. This is an act of radical self-care.
