Great to see you here, Karl and Tonya! Yes--there is a BIG difference between cheerleaders and accountability partners--although, if you can find a good balance of those in your life, you will be way ahead!

Karl--I'm game, let me know what you have cooking and I'll be happy to support.
Tonya--you are having a VERY common challenge. Do you check in with your group members to find out if the group is still serving them? Is there conversation around the fizzle? Do you actively welcome new members? Many times, we need accountability for a little while, but don't want to make a longer commitment (and many have difficulty saying this): that's OKAY! The group can evolve over time, ebb and flow. You may be surprised to find that the former fizzlers are ready to SIZZLE now!

I'm having trouble keeping an accountability group going! I've tried 2 in the past 5 years. They just sort of fizzle out. Any ideas of how to keep folks committed to even this? (It's the not-getting-things-done that prompted the group formation in the first place!)

thanks!

I try to keep myself accountable for my projects, but it doesn't always work. So I incorporate my friends and family to be my cheerleaders. They are loving, but not always able to kick my butt when I need it.

I think it might be good to have a partner (fellow blogger) to help in this process. Hmmm. Who to ask? I'll have to think about it and see who would be willing to join my accountability team.
