FAQs

Is Project Impossible like life coaching or therapy?

No, it is very different. Think of it as You Do/I Do/We Do.

  • You have the idea and the dedication to follow it through;
  • I have unlimited ideas and strategies to put a project plan on paper together; and
  • We decide the best course of action and can work together to set it in motion or you can do it yourself.

One client calls me her project midwife. You and I will agree on a specific set of goals or a project to work on and focus on it. Some clients have found that my work is an excellent complement to life coaching and/or therapy. Life coaches and therapists often refer clients to me who have a specific project and want side-by-side support to get it accomplished. When appropriate, I refers clients out who would be better served by the terrific therapists, coaches or other service providers in my vast network.

How does it work?

I only deliver my coaching in two ways. One way is that you can hire me for an hour (or half-day sessions) and pay as you go for getting your ideas out on paper and putting a plan together. The second way is to sign up for Project Impossible coaching, which is an intensive one month process to Decide, Test and Leap into your project. You will leave the calls excited about your ideas and have clear and fun ways to USE those ideas! I love coming up with new ways to help self-starters self-finish, and I thrive on using my passion to support your progress. What do you have to lose?

Who benefits the most from the work?

You are a grown up. You get things done, and have for years. Yet you have this one idea, one that seems “out there,” and keeps coming back. If that’s you, then I am the the project partner who can help you get it started, help you make it happen, and have fun in the process! Want to know what my clients think about the work? Check out their feedback here.

Where does it happen?

In board rooms, at conferences, on stage and off–in the US and around the world. I love to give instigational talks, teach and work with clients in one-on-one consultations. Most of my one-on-one consultations happen by phone, video and chat. My organization-based work happens in person and by phone, video and chat.

What if I have a small budget?

It’s fabulous that you are asking me that because it means you are already planning–you HAVE a budget which is a great accomplishment. If you are tight on cash, get a group together and your rates for Project Impossible get cut in half. You’ll have the benefit of a group of folks giving you ideas and working through their work right along side you. Bring Your Own Group and finish the good stuff!

If you know there was something else in the cards for you–something truly meaningful you needed to do, AND you had help, would you pursue it? If you say yes, and mean it, then make time to work with me.
